(6 credit/8 contact hours) Web Site Design Tools teaches an understanding of how to create and manage impressive s using the sizeable amounts of new technology available on the Web. Students will learn to create web sites using various web tools such as (but not limited to) Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe GoLive, HXTML. XML, Dynamic HTML, and various multimedia and CSS standards. Topics include compare and contrast different web site design tools, design web pages using FrontPage, NetObjects, and Image Composer web site design tools, develop basic layout skills, create shared borders, tables, hyperlinks, and forms, utilize advanced image techniques, connect a web site to a database, publish and manage a web site Prerequisites: CIS 2201 SCT 100 .
