Topics include: genetic theory and clinical applications, immunology, donor unit collection, pre-transfusion testing, management of disease states and transfusion reactions, safety, regulatory agencies, documentation and computer usage/quality control, Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA), and process improvement.
