After the Desktop Publishing portion of this course, the student will be able to combine text and graphics on a page in a variety of formats using a desktop publishing software package. The multimedia styles covered include the use of text, sound, still images, animation, and video. An extensive hands-on approach using an authoring language, presentation software and multimedia will allow students to develop effective multimedia presentations.(3-0-3) Prerequisites: CIS 1000 or CIS 250
