Introduces fundamental theory, safety practices, equipment, and techniques necessary to perform basic oxyacetylene welding operations. Topics include: welding theory; oxyacetylene welding safety; use of gas cylinders and regulators; use of torches, tips and apparatus; welding without filler rods; running beads with filler rods; butt, open butt, and lap joints; and brazing and soldering.
