This course continues a study of piston engine theory and maintenance including air and water cooled aircraft engines. Topics include: overhaul a reciprocating engine; inspect, check, service, and repair reciprocating engines and engine installations; instal , troubleshoot, and remove reciprocating engines; inspect and maintain aircraft engine lubrication systems; inspect and maintain aircraft engine induction systems; inspect and maintain aircraft engine cooling systems; and inspect and maintain aircraft engine exhaust systems. Minimum Federal Aviation teaching levels 1, 2, 3. Hours: Class/Week 3 P.Lab/Week 12 Credit 7 Prerequisites: AMT 221, AMT 226
