Visual JAVA introduces students to visual programming with JAVA. Students wil learn the fundamentals of the JAVA programming language and create JAVA programs with IBM Visual Age for JAVA or equivalent software. The course emphasizes designing a Graphical User Interface (GUI) via visual programming techniques, creating applets that will run on the World Wide Web, and creating applications that run on local machines. Students will create a fully functioning quiz program that tests users on local machines and the Web. Hours: Class/Week 3 D.Lab/Week 2 P.Lab/O.B.I. 0 Credit 4 Prerequisite: CIS 2201
