An introductory course in the functions, logic, and programming of mainframe computers using the Basic Assembler Language. Emphasis is placed on number systems, programming of business applications, and analyzing contents of registers and memory dumps. Topics include: computer concepts and number systems, assembly language structure, analyzing source and object code, programming for character and decimal data, and program development.
