This course provides instruction in basic algebra. Topics include: introduction to real numbers and algebraic expressions, solving equations and inequalities, graphs of linear equations, polynomial operations, and polynomial factoring. Hours: Class/Week 5 *D.Lab 0 *P. Lab-0 Credit - 5(IC) *D. Lab may be substituted, as needed, for class hours on a 2 to 1 basis and P. Lab on a 3 to 1 basis. Prerequisite: MAT 097 or entrance arithmetic score in accordance with approved Technical College System of Georgia admission score levels
