Prerequisite: permission of instructor. Brass Ensemble is a course designed to explore and perform brass music from the Renaissance through the twenty-first century. The primary focus is to explore a large body of brass music literature in the various instrumentations for which literature exists (brass choir, brass quintet, tuba quartet, horn quartet, and trombone choir). Open to all students. An audition/interview is required.
