Prerequisites: EGR 312 or equivalent, C or better in EGR 252 or equivalent. Pre/corequisite: MAE 305L or permission of instructor. Introduction to manufacturing systems. Manufacturing processes: casting, metal cutting, welding and joining processes, and plastic materials and processes. Introduction to geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, metrology and testing, numerical control, and process automation. Integrated laboratory assignments.
