Prerequisite: BIO 212 or 205. Organic chemistry strongly recommended. A study of the diverse ways in which different kinds of animals meet their functional requirements. Attention will be paid to the evolutionary relationships of animals by comparing physiological and biochemical characteristics. Formal laboratory writing may be required.
