Topics include: an overview of diesel powered vehicles, diesel technology safety skills, basic tools & equipment, reference materials, measuring instruments, shop operation, mechanical fasteners, seals & bearings, and fluids & lubricants. Classroom and lab experiences on safety, precision measuring, and basic shop practices are highly emphasized.
