Vector spaces, linear dependence/independence, basis and change of basis. Linear transformations and matrix representation; similarity. Scalar products, orthogonality, Gram-Schmidt process and QR factorization. Eigenvalues, eigenvectors, and diagonalization; singular-value decomposition. Problem solving using MATLAB.
