Topics include protein isolation techniques; IEF-SDS PAGE; protein structure determination by X-ray crystallography and NMR; techniques for identification of protein interactions; the use of mass spectrometry to quantitate, sequence, and identify post-translational modifications of proteins; the development of protein chips and how they can be used for protein identification and quantitation.
