This course is required for music majors. This course parallels Theory IV, and continues study of singing melodies at sight and improving ability to write music while it is being dictated on the piano. Ear training with micro-computer is included. Subjects include neapolitan sixth chord, augmented sixth chords, altered dominants, and chromatic mediants. Concurrent enrollment in MUSI 2212 is required. Prerequisite: CPT Reading 61, MUSI 2216.
