This is a required course for music majors. This course parallels Theory III, and continues the study of singing melodies at sight and improving ability to write music while it is being dictated on the piano. Ear training with micro-computers is included. Subjects include nondominant seventh chords, secondary dominant and leading-tone chords, borrowed chords and ninth, eleventh and thirteenth chords. Concurrent enrollment in MUSI 2211 is required. Prerequisite: CPT Reading 61, MUSI 1217.
