This course is required for music majors. This course parallels Theory I. Students will learn the ability to sing melodies at sight, as well as write music that it is being dictated on the piano. Ear training with micro-computer is included. Subjects include basic intervals, major and minor scales and chord progressions. Concurrent enrollment in MUSI 1211 is required. Prerequisite: CPT Reading 61.
