Description:
-
A new century may call for new forms of public leadership. Students will be challenged to think, write, and speak critically about what leadership is, what social and political forces shape leadership, and to reflect upon their own leadership capacities. The course examines leadership principles and practices through analysis of current politics, case studies of political leaders providing leadership, discussions with some who hold leadership positions, and some class simulations.
