Summarizing and describing data, discrete and continuous probability distributions, sampling methods and sampling distributions, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression analysis, statistical quality control, and index numbers. Emphasis on use of computer spreadsheets in statistical problem solving. Students pursuing a SMB major or minor must earn a grade of C or higher in this course. Prerequisite: COSC 1318 or COSC 1313 (Fall, Spring)
