This course is a continuation of ARTS 1316, as students expand upon pre-existing knowledge of line, volume, light, shading and perspective to clarify observations from life. This course is designed to expand the student's use of materials and processes within the context of drawing. Emphasis will be placed on the exploration of color media and compositional choices. Subjects range from still life to portraiture, with an introduction to drawing the human figure from direct observation. Prerequisites: ARTS 1316 and 1317. (Fall, Spring)
