This course will take students through current and engaging case studies in media as they investigate topics and issues in broadcasting, advertising, public relations, and journalism that are relevant in today's society. Students will gain insight into real-world situations as well as understand how professionals handle ethical dilemmas in contemporary media, both successfully and unsuccessfully. Does not fulfill the general education requirement for ethics. Prerequisite: COMM 2307. (Spring, even-numbered years)
