CRT HRS:03 LEC HRS:03 LAB HRS:01 Spanish 1311 is a comprehensive first semester beginning Spanish course designed for students with little or no previous knowledge of Spanish. This course includes instruction and practice in all four basic language skills of speaking, reading, writing, and listening with attention to selected aspects of the Hispanic culture. While one of the goals of this course is to learn grammatical structures of the Spanish language, the emphasis will not be on isolated structures but rather on integrating grammar into proficiency-oriented activities. Prerequisite: None.
