CRT HRS:03 LEC HRS:02 LAB HRS:04 This course is a study of ferrous and nonferrous metals from the ore to the finished product relevant to manufacturing and precision manufacturing. Emphasis is placed on metal alloys, heat treating, hard surfacing, welding techniques, forging, foundry processes, and mechanical properties of metal including hardness, machine-ability and ductility.
