CRT HRS:03 LEC HRS:03 LAB HRS:00 This course is a study of procedural regulations that guide the processing of criminal cases through the criminal justice system with emphasis on the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure and rules of evidence. Included is a discussion of due process rights of the criminal defendant from arrest through confinement, as well as issues related to the administration of capital punishment. Prerequisite: Completion of READ 0080 with a grade of "C" or better or equivalent.
