This course will provide an introduction to audiology and the physics of sound. This class will cover audiometric testing and screenings, types and causes of hearing loss, and will introduce hearing aids, cochlear implants and assistive listening devices as options for managinghearing loss. Prerequisite: SLP 100 and 101 or by permission. Mandatory decimal grading.
