Students will read literature from multiple perspectives and cultures in the U.S. Authors may include Hurston, Erdrich, Lahiri, Lorde, Morrison, Ozick, Tan, Viramontes, Wharton and Yamamoto. Previously ENG 236/ENG 236W. Prerequisite: ENGL& 101 or instructor approval. Student Option Grading.
