This course is designed to expose educators and other professionals to the broad range of business computer information systems: impact of information technology, roles of computer technology in specific business contexts, hardware and how components interface, operating systems, software applications, fundamentals of computer networks, programming languages for solving business problems, ethical legal issues relevant to the use of computer information systems, computer security, health and safety issues, and computer laboratory management.
