This is an introduction to the principles of photography including the use and functions of the camera, the aesthetics of photography, composition and basic techniques in black and white darkroom procedure. Assignments are in film processing, printing and enlargement, and presentation. A laboratory fee will be assessed. Prerequisite: Second semester freshman standing. (3-3).
