This is the study of the basic concepts and theories of inorganic chemistry and how these are used to predict and understand the physical and chemical properties of compounds of the elements other than carbon. Inorganic compounds in the air, water, earth, and in the laboratory will be studied. Completion of CHEM 1402 with a grade of "C" or better. (3-3).
