This is an introduction to the microeconomic theory of consumer behavior and of the firm and resource allocation in a private enterprise economy. The study includes analysis of pricing of output, determination of wages, interest and profits under alternative market structures, contemporary issues such as taxation, pollution, unions and government regulation.
