This course is designed to supplement the physical education and recreation courses with experiences at agencies to provide broad-based participation in field observations and volunteer work. This course will investigate the nature, scope and impact that recreation and leisure activities have on society. The basic requirements include one hundred and fifty (150) hours of field experiences at recreation centers, after-school programs, senior activity centers, fitness/wellness centers, hospitals and other organizations.
