Exploration of the cinematic production of Spain from its origin to current day, covering major film trends from Second Republic, Civil War, Dictatorship, and Democratic Spain. Focus is on films as narratives and as visual media, on Spanish culture and identity pictured through films, and on representative film-makers such as Bu?el, Saura, Almodóvar and Amenábar.
