Integration of previous knowledge and skills into the continued development of the associate degree nurse - a provider of care, coordinator of care, and member of a profession - in the care of adult clients/families in structured health care settings. Incorporates judgments, skills, and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. Content related to, but not limited to, endocrinology, the reproductive system, neuromuscular problems, hematology, and community based nursing and home health for the associate degree nurse. Computers are used in this course. Prerequisites: RNSG 2213 and RNSG 1162. Corequisite: RNSG 2261. Thirty-two hours lecture and sixteen lab hours per semester.
