Provides students with the essential knowledge of the equipment and techniques used in the treatment of pulmonary disease and their clinical application. The following areas are discussed in-depth: oxygen therapy, humidity and aerosol therapy, hyperinflation therapy, chest physiotherapy, pulse oximetry, arterial puncture, and interpretation. Corequisites RSPT 1160, RSPT 1201, RSPT 1307. Three lecture hours and four lab hours per week.
