A detailed study of the knowledge and skills necessary to reach competence in the assessment and management of patients with medical emergencies. This includes the management of ill or injured patients in nontraditional populations. A minimum course grade of 80 is required. Prerequisite: Completion of Fall semester of the Paramedic Certificate. Corequisite: EMSP 1455, 2348, 2261. .
