Instruction in teaching methodology for instructors of emergency medical services. This course examines the basic theory of adult education methods and resources for presentation, procedures for EMS skills and knowledge evaluations, and applicable Texas Department of Health regulations. NOTE: Completion of this course does not automatically impart eligibility to become certified as an instructor or examiner. A minimum course grade of 80 is required. Prerequisite: Paramedic Certification. One hour lecture and 2 hours lab per week.
