This course will emphasize the development of a personal artistic vision and the creation of a cohesive body of work contributing to the Senior Exhibit and Thesis. Students will continue to advance their technical, conceptual, and interpretive skills related to fine art photography. They explore what it means to develop a personal system of working and decision-making that stresses a critical awareness, and the ability to recognize directions in their own work and in the work of others. The work of contemporary photographic artists are presented and discussed through slide presentations, videos, assigned readings, gallery visits, and guest artists.
