Through this course, the students will learn the standard repertoire of Twentieth and Twenty-first century avant-garde music and its influence on popular music. Topics include: Impressionism, Dadaism, Serialism, Sound Mass, Indeterminacy, Minimalism, and Electroacoustic music.
