Prerequisites: ENGL 121; CSIS 102; Acceptance into the nursing program An introduction to beginning competencies in information literacy, scientific inquiry, and portfolio development. Using a variety of resources, students will learn to access, evaluate , and use information effectively, enabling them to ask informed questions specific to nursing. Students begin portfolio development illustrating their competencies in information literacy and scientific inquiry. This course fulfills the requirement for UNIV 201: Research in an Academic Discipline as specified in SWAU's Quality Enhancement Plan (Fall, Spring) (Required of all transfer students.)
