Emphasizes usage of hand and power tools, metal cutting and gouging, forming and bending, and safe handling of materials forming/shearing/cutting/welding operations and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) on aluminum plate in the if and 2F positions. Introduction to Pulsed GMAW and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) of aluminum and selected topics from blueprint reading and layout. Safety emphasized.
