Review of sterile techniques. Procedures of oral administration of drugs. Familiarization with equipment and supplies for parenteral administration of medications. Theory and practice of reading the medication order, drawing up of medications and parenteral administration of medications, and theory of IV therapy. Cultural aspects of medication administration are discussed. Prerequisite: AHE 118 with minimum C grade.
