Prereq: MU SC& 241 To strengthen music literacy skills, to facilitate an understanding of more advanced principles regarding chords, chord progressions, melody, and related ear-training skills. Fifth course in the traditional college-level music theory sequence. Designed for, but not limited to, the student intending to transfer to a four-year college or university as a music major. Piano skills equal to or above the intermediate level (MUSC 182) are highly recommended.
