Focuses on the use of statistics in the life sciences, including experimental design, data collection and presentation, descriptive statistics, statistical tests, including one-and twosample hypothesis testing, analysis of variance (ANOVA), correlation, regression, and chi-squared tests. Conditions of each test and the use of statistics in scientific papers are examined. Prerequisites: MATH 102, 107 and any collegelevel science course. (NS, QS)
