"Humanities I" invites students to expand their appreciationof the cultural side of human experience on the premise that a complete education should stimulate the intellect as well as provide skills and job training. This course will offer selected, interrelated topics in philosophy, literature, religion, and the arts and sciences from ancient times to about the year 1500. Coverage will be interdisciplinary and multi cultural, and will include readings, various media, and performance.
