Prepares the music major for the state TExES test by providing a review of music theory, history, and literature. Required of all music majors with or without Texas Educator Certification as the capstone course for a Bachelor of Arts degree. The course must be completed with a grade of at least 70 on the pre-TExES test (final exam) before one is allowed to take the TExES test, student teaching, or graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music.
