This is an honors introductory course which focuses on communication skills essential to career and personal success. Emphasis is placed upon awareness of and adaptation to the audience, ethical responsibility and cultural diversity. Students progress in gradual stages, gaining an understanding of the communication process along with confidence and experience in numerous speaking, listening and small group interactions.
