Developing and implementing an exciting, cohesive and effective marketing strategy adaptable to a changing business environment is a must for career preparation and meaningful placement in the world of marketing. This capstone course develops skills essential to anticipating and responding to the changing needs of customers and markets in our global economy and culture. It thoroughly explores marketing strategy using a combination of texts, readings, visiting speakers, Internet sites, cases, a marketing simulation and field assignments. It is recommended that all students complete all related professional studies courses before attempting this capstone course. Prerequisites: MRKT1001 or HOSP3050 and senior status.
