This introductory course presents the basic principles and practices of marketing. Topics include marketing orientation, external environments, ethical codes of conduct, and the importance of marketing to the business firm, our world economy and global culture. Case studies, field projects, a marketing simulation and using the Internet as a business and professional resource are utilized in the delivery of this course.
