Transport processes, bonding and theory of macromolecular behavior, surface chemistry, catalysis and thermodynamic calculations are presented. Laboratory portion of the course will investigate molecular level phenomena such as Knudsen diffusion. Prerequisites: CHEM 311, PHYS 212, and MATH 210. Offered alternate Fall Semester.
