An advanced course designed to permit qualified students to pursue an approved topic through independent study under the direction of a faculty member and to produce a specific outcome. Project example: Native Land Tenure and Business Entrepreneurship in Indian Country. As part of the course, the student will also prepare and present a portfolio representing the student's achievements and progress within the discipline (for example, academic papers, journalistic publications, literary works, videos of teaching, presentations, or performances, and so on). Prerequisite: permission of program chair. Offered Fall, Spring, and Summer Semester.
